$$: Shepard Fairey “Yes, We Did” Bumper Stickers

Total Spent Today: $3.00

MoveOn.org — $3.00
In September I bought six of the now-famous Shepard Fairey “Hope” Obama bumper stickers.  Today I snagged five stickers featuring Fairey’s follow-up “Yes We Did” artwork.
The “Hope” stickers are all sold out.  I’m thrilled that I managed to score some of this new design before it, too, sells out.

Someone Pinch Me!

I never thought it could happen.  No matter how much I wanted it to happen, no matter how much I knew it should happen, I never thought it would happen.
President-elect Barack Hussein Obama!!
The Son and I attended a 504 meeting this morning.  Then he went to class and I went to the local Obama [...]

$$: Church & the Mall

Total Spent Today: $158.98

Talk about both ends of the spectrum.  I spent the morning at church with both kids and the late afternoon at the mall with The Daughter.  Sadly, today was a Shopping While Impaired (SWI) day — the first in a very long time.  I still can’t tell whether I’m facing a major Fibromyalgia flare-up or [...]

$$: Food (plus, I voted!)

The Son and I ventured out on our new electric scooter again today.  This time our destination was the public library about 8 miles away.  I wanted to vote early and pick up some dinner fixings.
I walked out of the library with my “I voted” sticker proudly displayed.  The Son walked out with a Donald [...]

$$: Starbucks, Pizza & an animated Zombie-Hand-in-a-Bowl

Whoo Hoo.  I actually had a car at my disposal today.  This is, I believe, the first Saturday in about two months that I’ve had a car to use.  The Daughter is still fighting some sort of back-to-school-sniffles and since there were no tournaments and no college fairs to attend today, she stayed home, cleaned [...]

$$: No Spend Day & Some Deep Thoughts

What a blessing a licensed 16-yo can be!  I sent The Son and The Daughter off together to church this morning.  It was nice to know I could skip church without putting any additional stress on The Husband.  The Daughter got herself and her brother to chuch and home again — and filled up the [...]
