$$: Fluff
Cash -- $5.00
Admission to see both The Son and The Daughter play basketball games tonight. It was a long afternoon evening; The Son is on the Swing Team. He's a starter on the JV (Junior Varsity) team and an alternate on the Varsity team. That meant two games for him tonight. Luckily, The Daughter -- a senior -- is only on the Varsity Team; but then she drives herself so her schedule would not have impacted mine quite so fully as The Son's did. But that's all neither here nor there; I spent $5 cash to get in to see the games.
Reimbursement to The Son -- $8.35
After the boys' JV game, The Son and a couple of team mates walked the couple of blocks to Subway for a bite to eat. He paid for his meal with his debit card and then after we got home tonight I logged into my online bank account and transferred that amount from our joint household checking account to his checking account. See, this is why it's an excellent idea to have a parent as a cosigner on your checking account.
