Gasoline (and a return)

Yup, that’s the only thing I spent money on today, gasoline.

I got the car today because I had a OneToOne lesson at the Apple store.  I’d planned to run a number of errands but an appointment to consult on a web design project ran long.  Most of my other plans for the day went out the window.

Right after my lesson I picked up the kidlets from school.  On the way home we stopped by the library for books The Daughter had on hold and, since we were right there, I begged the kids for their indulgence so I could make at quick return at Old Navy before the return period expired.

Old Navy — ($ 2.31)

Returned a rugby shirt The Son didn’t like, exchanged it for three short-sleeved t-shirts @ $5.00/ea. The clerk gave me the rest of the refund in cash.

Safeway Gas — $25.10

I pumped 10.419 gallons at $2.409 per gallon.  My 7-month-old “Silver Bullet” Subaru wagon now has 16,711 miles on it.  Good night, that’s a lot of miles in 7 months!  I hope we don’t continue at that pace.

As for housework, nada.  Tomorrow.…  Gotta catch up on the laundry if nothing else — The Son is now going through a lot more clothes now that he’s in school every day.  That and the fact that he’s simply more interested in his appearance and hygeine  ;-)
