Quick Check-in

Hi every­one.  Sorry about the unplanned and unan­nounced break from my Daily $$ posts and my as-yet-unfinished Count­ing My Bless­ings theme.

I’ve been feel­ing lousy, been par­tic­u­larly busy with my work duties, and now The Son is sick.  I expect to be back at the key­board tomor­row to catch up on my spend­ing and wrap up the Bless­ings theme.

But quickly before I go — The Hus­band and I cel­e­brated 15 years of wed­ded bliss today.  He gave us both a copy of Le Carre’s lat­est novel.  My anniver­sary present to him was exactly what he wanted:  noth­ing — though if I get off the com­puter soon and head to bed, he might be in the mood for a lit­tle unwrap­ping     Baby, it’s cold outside.
