After yesterday’s spending spree, I gave the credit cards a cool-down period. Okay, okay — the truth is I didn’t have a vehicle today but it is possible that even if I’d had a car, I might not have spent anything

Today was another gorgeously warm day but the weatherman’s predicting a 30-degree drop in temperature tomorrow.

This afternoon, The Husband called and said he was thinking about coming home early and, if he did, would I feel like teaching him how to ride his new electric scooter? I told him, “come on home, big fella’. You got the money, honey, I got the time.”

We had a great time zipping around the neighborhood, him on the new scooter and me on The Daughter’s bike. Ah, to be 50 and 20 again (respectively).
