Carnival of Family Life

Carnival Participation
It’s been nearly a year since my Carnival shut-out when I swore off blog carnival submissions. Well, I decided it was time to give the dog-and-pony show another try.
I’m proud to say that my post, A Son’s Epiphany and A Mother’s Lesson, was included in the latest Carnival of Family Life hosted by The Ex-Patriate’s Kitchen. My post was in some excellent company so be sure to surf over there and take a look.
One of my favorite articles was Schools remind me why I homeschool — a wholly eloquent essay. As a homeschooling mom of a child with Asperger’s Syndrome, my heart warms when I encounter articles of this caliber. Homeschooling can be challenge enough; the stigma against and misconceptions about homeschooling don’t make the job any easier.
I also enjoyed Consequences are not very fun. Excellent writing and funny! Boy could I relate :-) I sure miss my younger-kids mommy days.
Hosting a Carnival (coming soon!)
I’m particularly thrilled to announce that I’ll soon be hosting my very first carnival! I’ve signed up to host the December 1 edition of Carnival of Family Life. Be sure to check back next week because I’ll have all the details for submitting your articles.
