Christmas Lemonade: Making the Most of Tough Times

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

With the economy on the rocks and the holiday season fast approaching, I've been doing some heavy-duty pondering.  Like many Americans, I've decided that we're going to have a small Christmas this year.  Much smaller than in years past.

But instead of making a big deal out downsizing our Christmas (a negative), I'm going for a positive spin.  This year, we're going to focus more on family and the meaning of Christmas.  We'll do a little more baking and put extra time and effort into decorating and making things festive.  When the kids are out of school, we'll have game nights and explore Netflix's Instant Watch offerings.

Maybe this will be the beginning of a new "Christmas Lemonade" tradition.
