$$: Food (plus, I voted!)

The Son and I ventured out on our new electric scooter again today.  This time our destination was the public library about 8 miles away.  I wanted to vote early and pick up some dinner fixings.

I walked out of the library with my “I voted” sticker proudly displayed.  The Son walked out with a Donald Westlake book.

On the way home we made two grocery stops:

Whole Foods — $14.39

• Odwalla Strawberry C Monster — $3.29
• 3 individual packages of 1# ground beef — $10.54

Kroger — $ 18.19

• 1# Horizon salted butter — $3.99 (saved $1.50)
• Horizon chocolate milk — $3.49 (saved $0.20)
• Horizon 2% milk — $4.99 (saved $0.20)
• Kroger raisin bran — $1.89
• Ben & Jerry’s ice cream — $3.69
