$$: Bumper Stickers

The Husband drove me to my check-up with the surgeon today (although I've again stopped the Vicodin, I'm still way too much under the influence to consider driving).  I expected to have a co-pay for the appointment but nope.  I guess the check-up was built into his surgical fee.

Obama HopeWhen I got home, I found an email informing me that the Obama "Hope" bumper stickers were back in stock at StickerGiant.  I guess if I hadn't been so blissfully ignorant of the record drop in the stock market, I might have put off this purchase again.  But I really love this graphic so I bought some -- to the tune of $24.62.  I bought 1 sticker and upgraded to make it magnetic.  In addition, I bought another 6 stickers (if you buy 6 of the same sticker you get a 10% discount but I couldn't qualify by adding 1 magnetic sticker and 5 regular).  Shipping was $3.49.  I'm thinking I'll be able to sell a couple of the extras to friends and neighbors and recoup part of the expense (btw, I'll sell them at my cost only; no profit).
