Day 249: Earbuds and Plastic Clips

Posted on | May 7, 2008 |

Actually posted on May 15 — catching up with daily expenditures.

Tomorrow I fly home.  One of the things I promised my mom I’d do before leaving was hook her HP printer up to her new Macbook computer.  The neither the computer nor the printer came with the necessary USB printer cable so we ran to Staples for a cord.  While there I picked up two items for myself.

First, I bought a pair of iLuv earphones/earbuds — $14.99.  While waiting for my mom to make her purchases, I opened the package and tried the buds.  I hated them.  I have very small ears and these didn’t even come close to fitting.  I was about to return the buds but my mom wanted to try them first.  She liked them so we agreed to trade — my new earbuds in exchange for her Apple buds (came with her Nano).  I’d forgotten to bring my Apple earbuds with me on the trip and I was facing a 7-hour trip home without anyway to listen to my iPod.

Second, I bought a 6-pack of plastic Emoticon clips — $0.50.  They’re pretty cute and funky and we can always use some more clips.
