Jean,

We have several of those folding bookcases around the house. I love them. What you can't see in the photos are the cool canvas baskets on the shelves that hold plastic storage containers, catalogs, and more paperwork.

As for magnets, the kids and I love our collection. When my mom sold her house earlier this year, one of the treasures I came home with was a whole tin of refrigerator magnets. The Son was so thrilled!

Each one of our magnets has some sort of memory or emotional attachment associated with it -- like the one The Daughter selected during our trip to Grand Canyon years ago that says "I hiked, dragged myself, complained, nearly passed out & barely made it out of The Canyon". She was 9 :-)

Or the magnetic church key The Son picked out as a souvenir during our trip to The Spy Museum in DC last summer.

I like your command center and I now know where to look for magnets! I used to have the bookcase on the left of the picture many years ago. I gave it to my neighbor who is still using it!
