Day 125: Unexpected No-Spend Day

It’s truly amazing to me that as busy as I was all day, I managed to not spend a single penny.

The Son had an appointment with a speech pathologist and I expected to have to pay out-of-pocket so I went prepared to write a check.  But she took my insurance info and said she’d call about our coverage first and then let me know where we stood on her fee — so I spent the money today but the payment will be delayed.

I did quite a bit of running around today, too, and should have tanked up but didn’t feel up to it tonight — that will have to be done tomorrow before I go very far.

I’d enjoy no-spend days like today more if I felt that I’d truly gone the day without spending money rather than feeling that I simply delayed the inevitable.
