The Son and I had dental cleaning appointments first thing this morning. No co-pays (gotta love that) and we each left with a brand new toothbrush. I also got a tube of sensitive tooth paste
Sometimes aging sucks.
On the way home, The Son -- in starvation mode because it had been nearly two whole hours since he'd last eaten -- asked if we could stop for some bagels. He had a real hankering for some Einstein's --we did the drive-thru and picked up two plain bagels with plain schmear for $4.93.
I finally got the wish lists of two more grandchildren and did a little on-line shopping at Sensational Beginnings. We ended up buying four coordinating pieces of a Sir Peter Knight of Wolfsbane costume for a total of $95.30 (including shipping). Since his birthday is in January, we'll give him two pieces for Christmas and two for his birthday. They won't be here in time for the party but he's old enough to be happy getting a card announcing the gift and receiving the package a few days after Christmas. I'll pick up a little something so he'll have something to unwrap.
