I've made it clear that even if I were floating in cash and money were no problem, I <b>would not</b> buy her a car for her birthday. I'm not a fan of 16-year-olds being given cars. I'm so relieved to see you laughing about your dad's joke. When it first occurred to me to get The Daughter a "car" for Christmas, I was afraid that it would just hurt her feelings and make her mad.
