I have got to stop taking The Daughter with me.  She really racks up the grocery bill and she’s in a terminally-rude place right now.  Shopping with her is not benefitting our relationship ;-)

Tonight we had our regular Saturday night dinner with The Husband’s youngest son’s (special-needs, from his first marriage) and it just happened to be his 40th birthday.  He had requested meatloaf :-)  So we enjoyed a meal of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and broccoli followed by cake and ice cream and the opening of his present — a new hoodie sweatshirt.
