A new refrigerator! I’m 43 years old and this is the first time I’ve ever owned a new fridge. It’s an Amana Bottom Freezer, French-door model in Black, model #AFD2535DEB. The price includes the fridge itself, the water line kit (for the ice-maker and water dispenser), delivery and haul-away charges, the 5-year extended warranty, and tax. The Daughter is excited because the new fridge has a water dispenser inside the door. I’m looking forward to having an ice maker and to not having my milk go bad every other day. I think that The Husband will like the energy savings — our old fridge, otherwise known as The Ghetto Fridge because we’ve needed duct tape to keep the door closed ever since last Christmas, must be costing us a fortune to run.

  1. […] Amana French-Door Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator I purchased this refrigerator on the same day I started this blog.  It was the first new ‘fridge I’ve ever owned.  The entire family loves it and we haven’t had a single regret about our choice of products, style, brand, or vendor.  The automatic ice maker, a mild bone of contention for The Husband, works great and I’m really glad I pushed for it.
